The sun rises over the bridge
The quiet before the storm
People yawning as they wake up
Getting ready to face the day.

The calmness of the water
Reflecting the calmness of the day
The sun breaks the horizon and
The hectic commute begins.

The cars drive fast along the bridge
The drivers reading their newspapers,
Doing their make-up, and eating their breakfast
Their ignorance is irrational.

For in the hustle and bustle of the daily commute
There is a beauty within that reveals itself.
With each time the sun rises over the horizon
The world begins afresh, anew.
