Click hereI think 10 syllables are best for prose,
Because it gives enough words for a line.
You can express yourself adequately,
And use the words you need to fill your rhyme!
Too many syllables can be all wrong,
Because the rhythm sometimes won't feel right.
And too few of them makes your prose harder,
And sometimes they don't want to work out right!
I never HAVE liked to use LESS than 8,
But 8 syllables CAN make GOOD prose,
I'll just keep my preference count at 10,
Cause that's my favorite count far as it goes!!
or a perfect score, unless its a nursery rhyme. TK U MLJ LV NV
