BIMBO

How could I ever get more deep,
Than where I am already?
My promises how can I keep,
And to my course stay steady?

So many things are coming up,
So many dreams still smiling,
So many songs drawing the map,
My life are re-styling.

I had a style that you did like,
When it was new and fancy,
Later I saw you on your bike,
All frivolous and bouncy.

It was just mad to ride a bike,
More mad than I could tell you,
Your world destroyed in a strike,
Your own charms dispel you.

This steady and unchanging style,
You loved to go through it,
Maybe will bring you back a smile,
When you'll be sure you knew it.

You did not really ever know,
My style or my desire,
You're just a dream of long ago,
Your substance is my fire.

I'm not in love with you, my dream,
But when I was it mattered,
Now I am a single moon beam,
In million colours scattered.

And since my brains are to let,
My soul in a limbo,
I tend sometimes to forget,
That you're a German bimbo.
