Smashing pumpkins on
her blushing pink tablecloth
while the leopard
sleeps silently against
the feathered pillow
ask my pretty niece
for crimson seaweed
spread it carefully
towards her polished floor.

Lime green waves
wash memory storage
into my distant past
like a meat cleaver
through a butter mountain.

My demise will not insult
any obscure intelligence
creation will prosper
into an ocean of dreams.

missy sissy

when ever i read your work

I imagine myself in your kitchen

and you are baking something

sometimes it's delicious

and I can't wait to stick a hungry fork

deep into your soft acron squash

sometimes my nose crinkles

and wonders at the wonder

at the armadillo of your red velvet cake

but I am always grateful

for a slice of what ever you're serving
