We met playing poker
Such a wonderful man
A wise, caring creature
I'm blessed to call friend

He's picked up the pieces
Of my shattered heart
And glued them together
For my brand-new start

I knew him before
I'll know him again
This wonderful man
I'm blessed to call friend

He's exorcised demons
I held deep within
Helped me realize
It was not My sin

I truly am blessed
To call this man friend
His name I can't give
But we're friends to the end.

nice

The rhythm took me awhile to find, but the sentiment of the poem is gorgeous.

Minx,

Very enjoyable. Especially since I married my best friend.
