He is gone
fast trailed to Tennessee
and if I called from Smoky Mountains
would he still remember me?

Could I descend from the fog
into a memory?

Could I find some way
to brake against the grade
take in sunsets
rushing rivers
and the love that swept away?

Good scene

Not too much revealed, just enough for the reader to come up with their own conclusions. Enjoyed, thank you.
