"But I Didn't, And He Did"

I wish that I still knew him
And the love that was free
The fountain of youth
Light as air , summer breezes
His hot tender kisses caressed me
Nude bathing beneath a waterfall
A gush when he kissed me
Under there, overall
The feeling of warmth from head to toe
I'd tingle as he held me in his arms
and said,
"I'll never let go".
A love to last, in him I could trust
So I did, and he did
And now,
As I blow the dust
Off of the
Faceted crystalline
lavender hued heart
That was given to me with love, hah,
We'd never be apart!
I remember the joys of those days
How my heart sang
and leapt when the phone rang
Knowing that soon a stirring would build
Deep inside
One that was impossible to hide
I smiled when we met
I hoped he would not forget
But I didn't and he did
