Quiet moments alone in the dark
My mind wanders to you
The guilt inside seems to overflow
But still there was your face
I had to say good-bye to you
Part of me never wanted to let you go
Again
But still there was your face
It has been a while since we have talked,
The one who knows me like no other
I made a decision,
To allow my self to say good bye
I am not sure it was the true one
So alone I sit in the dark.
The quiet surrounding me
The world so empty and cold
Yet even in the darkest moments
Still there was your face.

~~

The letting go while still conflicted;

The question will haunt for some time to come.
