i didn't think so,
but i wish for it,

and it seems dramatic from a spectaters point
but they don't know that i wake alone
next to a pillow you left
still wreaking of you
you don't seem to wash away.

so i cry and wallow
our dogs trying desperately to see me
and comfort me
wondering what is wrong with me
searching under the sheets for you

digging into the mattress
lost in finding you are lost
and so am i
in the deep deep sorrow
of your going away from us.
