Anonymousover 19 years agoIt is so rhythmic, so NOT 20th Century in its mete. And then it comes to an abrupt end, where you use your imagination. I felt the protagonist's ambivalence would be resolved in a positive way, until the last line.
Great job-in a field where sap and bad taste often predominates, this is a very good poem!
