Okay, I kind of wrote this poem on a whim. I’m not sure if it’s any good, or even if I like it really, but I decided to post it. Why? Puh-leeze! If I knew that, then I’d just...just....have the answer to my question, wouldn’t I? :)- If you like it, vote for it. If not, then still vote for it, but just give it a low score. Thanx!

* * * * *

Running blindly
Turning the corners, barely slowing down
Right, left, right, right, right, left, right, left, left
Not caring where the passages lead
You’ll be okay as long as you keep moving
Keep running

But with every step, breathing gets harder
The blood really starts to flow
Your vision becomes hazy
But you have to keep running
Stopping isn’t an option
The only thing you know how to do is to keep running

Could you even stop if you wanted to?
This is all you know
All you’ve ever known
Nothing else makes sense

The pain begins to take over
First your arms go
Then your neck
And then your chest, stomach, thighs
All the way through your knees and into your ankles
Finally your lungs, then your brain

But they didn’t get everything, did they?
Your heart is still beating
Still throbbing
Still pulsing
And it will never stop
