All I ever wanted to know
rapt in sinuous fibers

The same yen gave rise to
conversation
between serpent and ingénue
and the first taste
of forbidden fruit

a Brain grown rigid

This is a perfect example of my struggle with poems I don't understand.

I know it's good.
I don't know why it's good; I just know.
I struggle;
feel familiar;
know every word, intimately;
feel every image familiarly,
without traction in my mind.
Helplessness of being tickled
in a dream, vivid, immobilized.

I smile and swell with feelings agitated
unsettled in understanding.

The last five lines a sentence.
What goes before a fragment
that others understand, while I
languish in synaptic seizure.
Good poem. I found the first two lines to be extremely excellent.
