Censor me.
Erase my thoughts.
Erase my pain, my anger, my angst.
Erase my journey,
Wiping out my steps
In the sand of this life.

Remove my rights.
Forbid me to speak.
Forbid me to express the blackness
Forbid me to reach out in despair.
Clean away the signs
Of my own humanity.

I am not a still-life painting.
I am not perfect
or pleasant
or nice.
Not always.
I am fireworks
chaotic
and loud
and dangerous.

You censored me.
You snap-shot me.

Release me from these
shackles
of decorum.
