Poised before impossibility
I pause to pontificate
the simplicity
of a
Leaf.

Drifting down
on a sigh of serendipity-
it skims,
then soaks,
and finally rides
the current beneath it
Alone.

Embracing Now
it questions not-
it simply feels
and watches
with muted perception
as the world floats by
Subdued.

who would have thought

the simplistic leaf could bring about such beautiful poetry?

Awesome Job, beautiful!

*i've always been a fan of 'pontificate'...*smile**

In the minds eye.

The leaf was present in the minds eye, and tickled your thought.

I like the image...

...although I know the example is one I would have trouble following. The ability to accept and travel without struggling seems to be quite beyond me.
