The pain is too great anymore,
I seem to never do or say anything right
To a few I talk of me and not listen to you
Though you are wrong

So the emptiness will be who listens
I will let the emptiness take over
Find me the emptiness
For the pain is too great anymore

Let the emptiness wrap me
Wrap me in a blanket
Let me sleep within this blanket.
I don’t want to feel the pain anymore

Wrap me in a blanket of emptiness
I will let the emptiness wrap me
I seem unsure of what to feel and think
Or even say anymore

Forgive me….For I do care and listen….
To what you say….

I remember writing this kind of poetry. It was releasing for me. I hope it is for you, as well. I remember those feelings and that pain: the physical and the emotional. You portray those feelings very well.
