last night knew rain,
and morning slumbered long,
curled safe and sleepy
in her mist.
only later,
glint of sparkle lifting from the dew
sent me forth on summer winds and
I flew--
becoming soft,
in forms so white,
drifting on, till finding you:
we danced in skies that stretched
as wide as all earth’s dreams
and there, the passion of our kisses
hovered timelessly in open view.

Lovely

Good to see another poem from you.

Light and breezy with loads of subtlety.

You make words lovely, SB, just what I want in the morning with my coffee.
