Each time she was taken,
lifted,
set free in the clouds,
she heard the soft voice whispering in her ear,
settling on her soul....
sawu (once)....
ta (twice)....
tsoi aleyesu (three times).

After the third,
when she no longer thought of anything
except the feel of the clouds all around her,
she heard a brief question....
siwu (more)?
to which her only reply was an ecstatic smile........
and the counting continued.....
nvgi aleyesu(four times)....

Say what?

What a load of crap! I mean, excrement. Um, doo doo?

No -- I mean, it's absolutely lovely.

gentle

I love this poem because it is so gentle. The use of language, the imagery it creates... just marvelous! And-- just because I'm curious I have to ask-- is that Cherokee?

That is really beautiful

Truly shows her essence, and I love how special and personal you made this for her.

I'm sure she loves it. ;-)

Little Cloud...

Captured in all her beauty and bliss.

I love it.
