Cognizant

As the sun echoes between earth and clouds,
and shimmers off every exposed surface.
The prismatic billiards skipping through my adventures.
Always on a Cosmic, Big-Bang, linear, Loop-the-loop purpose.

As down the path I wander and slow my day-dream thoughts.
The shapes upon my mind and the colors somehow reach my heart.
As life ambles upon this earth, its laughter still enables numerous shocks.
I’m ready to whisper your quiet name, and do, in service, my small part.

My heart, my eyes, my mind, my soul, cascade into a fluid river.
But deep as the ocean, is my effort to understand.
What stands before our sight, their silent blessings and unheard endeavor.
Maybe someday you’ll emerge aware,
the wild music of a whole earth band.
