Each city has
A color
All it’s own.

Smalltown, USA,
With all its trees
Is green

London and Paris,
In their age,
Are grey.

Mendoza
With its dirt and dying trees
Is brown.

But Buenos Aires
Is more difficult
To define.

The Avenue 9 of June
Is like air
Free and fresh

La Boca
Is a mixture
Of the entire rainbow

La Recoleta
Is the white of the church
And the vendor’s tents

The narrow roads
Are gray and wet
In the shadows

La Plaza de Mayo
Is dominated by
La Casa Rosada

La Catedral
Is the yellow of
wooden pews and candle light

Buenos Aires
explore the
colors.
