My eyes have ceased their crying
My emotions not so torn
Optimisim fills my heart
and im no longer so forlorn.
He can't look at me and love me
and that's more than just okay
He feels for me, alot for me
just in His own way.
Just like Him
i have demons i have to beat
but i still have earned my place
kneeling at His feet.
While im not His doormat
Or crushed beneath His hand
W/we have more than empty words
something more to understand
W/we gave the greatest gift
and W/we gave it in much trust
W/we gave more than empty words
W/we have more than empty lust
W/we have understanding
W/we left some room to build
W/we left room for improvement
and dreams to be fufilled
If He could find the will to hold me
No longer at arms legnth
W/we can find a way to fix this
with O/our inner strength.
