To lay in the sky,
Somewhere you will come to me
I know I caused
You hurt last time,
Still somehow you will come to me
The dusk has gone,
The stars are out
Yet my tears are still falling -
Hopefully you will come to me
But I ask where in the clouds
Are you now?
Floating high and bound
For shelter where even the angels
Cannot find you?
Soon my feet will walk away
From here
And silence will start to reign
But for now I will stay and wait
Wishing you will come back to me.
is a truly cathartic moment...and one worth sharing. I liked the permutations at the end of each stanza, but it was missing fromthe fourth, and somewhat pulled my attention away from the feeling of the poem. Overall very heartfelt. Thank you.
