I watch your step falter
Hesitate
Unsure which road to take
Your mind clouded
Filled with clashing emotions
Uncertain what move you need to make
Dark clouds of despair billowing
The solid rock on which you stand
Turned to quicksand
Pulling you down

Take my hand and hold it tight
I offer you my shoulder for support
Or for your tears
Let me help to soothe your worried brow
Come
Walk with me a little way
Toward the light and ground so firm
Come
Walk with me a little way
My friend

The first and only poem she submitted. More's the pity. Reading this makes me think of the spider and the fly.
