Let events that may crop

Indeed come to pass.

He prepared her for guilding

"Naïve, little Lass!"

Letters, patent and puy;

Patronism. Respect.

Placement toppled ...no warning!

What did she expect??

Podium raised and applauded

Deserved, to this day.

Yet, to him, was dismantled?

In coming...what may.

How well she holds pieces.

Two years, come this May,

Hoping some are still useful

Jig-sawed, into play.

There are times when she ponders

How he folded her in

Yet, in darkness she pleads,

"Master, do it...again!"

She would build it, again.

His alter. Today!

She remembers, foremost

His lesson, that May.

Two years and still counting

Twenty more, one dares say

For decades, she'll honor,

Let it be...come what may!
