My darling, come with me and take my hand
As we travel to a far distant land.
Where the grass is green and the sky is blue,
Where the birds sing gaily for me and you.

My darling, come with me and be my love,
To a beautiful place way up above.
Where we can run as the animals play,
With the wind in our hair beside the bay.

My darling, come with me and be my guy,
As the setting sun is now drawing nigh.
As the sky turns colors of pink and red,
Making you forget all the things you said.

My darling, come with me and take my hand,
As we travel to a far distant land.
Where our hearts can soar, but not for the past,
Where our love can and will forever last.
