The floodgates open to a rush of thoughts and imagined conversation
only to be bothered away by some unexpected noise

Reality flashes through the darkness
In lightening quick annoyance
Like a child invoking God's help
I pray I will find my place

How do I make these hands yours
Make them take the route you would set them on
I hate being away from you

Colors invade and I follow my hands
to a lace trimmed pair of panties
Black now separates us as I turn purple
at my own need

" Don't fall asleep " not yet,
as conciliatory hands are licked palms out
Black eyes reach deep inside me
I tense and obey, " not yet "

You moisten my parched lips and throat
with each thought as you tease
I swallow dryly sucking the night air
as knee jerk responses echo " not yet "

I lay bare to your wonderment
as I feel your eyes trace over my soul
hoping you'll see my need as more
it is desire that holds me, haunts me

Your eyes soften and hold me safe
" now " resounds through my body
now that you have seen me
you allow me to sleep
