Corridor of Life

The narrow blade of life
Cuts into our feet
A wound so deep
Barriers along the way
Bar our track
Demand we turn back
The corridor of life
Unable to see
Our destiny
Blocked by doors
Denying the view
Of experience new
Foreign shores
Yet to find
Within our mind
No door locked
No passage blocked
If we perceive it so
Amidst fears of unknown
Turn the handle and find
That only in our mind
The future is told
Touch the future of our past
The future yet to find
Choose to be blind
or make it so.

~~

Passing through the corridor, so many opportunities abound. The question is, which door to open and which to pass by.
