Craters?

Is it when a heart sinks to the belly in deaths gripping grasp when divinity captures a loved ones soul and rips them from you like a leaf plucked from a limb?

Or the door that slams and will be remembered forever which is only the length of existence yet impressed upon the pages of your life till it is ...no more. The leaving behind or the ricochet of an event or unison that is ...no more.

Perhaps the crater left in the mind like the scars of the moon unhidden by non-smiles and weary eyes ringed with age and sleepless nights.

A full anatomy that seems limbless from being emotionaly overwhelmed by a bombardment to the heart.

Monumental signs of a collision in the past thrust upon you, unseeing its outcome till the unavoidable cavity is created.

An explosive impact so devastating that it renders many marked forever. A scar that withers ever so slowly upon a surface and or depths, a crater.

Looking, in metaphorical terms, at craters in ways not before imagined.
