From across a room of unfamiliar faces,
you touch me with an unapologetic stare
and I feel your breath on my neck
as if you’re standing beside me
with a hunger that matches my own.

You come to me finally in quiet hours
when darkness hides us from the world
and begin our story with a simple kiss
that I will taste tomorrow
and remember long after you’re gone.

With the trust of a child I reveal my secrets
and with the desire of a woman
I undress, exposing curved roundness
That so sharply contrasts with the firmness
of your muscled arms and aroused cock.

Your naked body now beneath my own,
I seek nothing less than your surrender
but with tangling, twisting fingers you enslave me
and urge me towards release
so that I am the one who surrenders to you.

You breathe the word “again”
and silence my protests with a kiss.
As my fingers glide without effort down slick skin
and your eyes follow the line I trace.
Knowing you are watching renews my craving.

The smell of raw sex surrounds us like uncovered earth
on white sheets dampened from feverish pace.
Breathless rhythm once begun cannot be slowed
until at last the deep sound of pleasure escapes you
and I feel you body shudder and pulse from deep inside.

When lust finally gives way to exhausted repose
and our labored breathing slows to still,
we lie beside each other, strangers no more.
Tomorrow I will be a memory but tonight -
tonight belongs to us.
