he bounds
to meet me
giddy tail
thumpa thumping
as I open the door.

he's hiding
rain reluctant
under the sofa
and pees everywhere
when I try to pull him out.

This one made me laugh so much. It brought back vivid memories of various dogs I have owned and also my tenuous relationship with the muse. Very funny and insightful.
