Crimson rain

Falling so slowly

Draining away my life

And I watch with morbid fascination

And total disassociation.

That is my wrist with the deep cut marring it,

Isn’t it?

That is my future staining the once pristine carpet,

Isn’t it?

All this so you’ll notice me as something more

Than the little annoyance that crept into your life;

So you can see me for just one moment

And having seen me, what will you do?

Cold predictable fish that you are

You’ll scold me for daring to ruin your carpet.

My soul drifts away

And in my heart

Lingers one last wish

That some day you’ll join me

For eternity

In hell.

Interesting

Morbid, but well-written. Maybe it should be longer?
