Crushed mint kisses
Honeysuckle hair
Butterfly trailing pixie dust
Hint of bluegrass in your voice

I prayed for quartz
received a diamond
Suddenly, all silly love songs
Don’t seem so trite

Wild flowered meadows
First Autumn breeze
Early in September
Hand in hand we smile

How did love find us worthy?
How did I find you?
From Providence of course
May I ever be thankful
