CUTTING OFF HIS SOCIALIST BALLS
(I hope that it's understood, this poem has nothing to do with ordinary working German people, many of whom are my very good friends)

PROLOGUE
(paraphrase: "A DAY IN THE LIFE")

I've read the news today, oh boy,
the German Army had just won the war,
and though the news were rather sad,
I just had to laugh,
I saw your photograph,
cutting off your balls...
now they know how many holes
it takes to fill the Albert Hall...
I'd like to turn... you... on...

Having read all available analysis,
in British, German, and international press,
I came up with my own resume:
The impeding victory
of the socialists
in Greece's general election
next Sunday
is to the advantage of no one.
At least this is the point
which all press agreed.
Ok,
but, who is "no one"?

At first I thought,
"that doesn't affect me,
I am certainly someone
and so are
all millions of ordinary people
living in the Euro zone.
We are all "someones".
So, all I want to know is
who is this fucking "no one"
they refer to.

It is a problem of logic really.
"No one" is a pretty name
and definitely to the point.
No one, meaning faceless,
No one, meaning hiding,
No one, meaning just a few.
Instead of calling themselves that,
they attribute the name "no one" to us.
They must be shit scared!

A return to the days
when national governments existed,
when globalization was laughed at.
Today it sounds radical
to be a democrat,
it sounds too far fetched,
too far left!

In this sense yes,
Mr. Tsipra's socialists are "radical",
never mind been
middle class rich kids
that turned champagne socialist
in their youth
just out of boredom
and for never having an opportunity
to become heroes
in Greece's bloody struggle
against totalitarianism.

All these "Johnny come lately's"
(as Dennis Skinner would put it),
still have the balls
to say "no" to Germany.
How is Germany going to deal
with Greece?
(I suppose, like Edeltraud dealt with me,
on a personal level,
by not recognizing any right),
by not recognizing any right
of any democratically elected government
to govern.
If the worst comes to the worst,
cut off those southern kids'
socialist balls.

My political strategy
is slightly different than that
of Mr. Tsipras.
I say to my fellow country men and women:
Love Germans,
love them to destruction!
Have sex with them,
make them pregnant,
be impregnated by them,
give them Greek genes,
turn them all Greek.
In a few decades
they could not say,
"You owe us money",
cause we would say,
"Yes, but I'm your daddy...
I'm your mummy...
you owe me the very air you breathe".

Don't talk bullshit
about "austerity",
just take a walk on the wild side,
what do you know about it?
We owe you nothing.
If you write off our debt,
(cause you won't get it anyway,
and tough shit to you, Mrs. Merkel),
then we perhaps could consider
thinking about
writing off your debt to us,
(although immeasurably bigger),
your war crimes in this country,
(do they really teach you any German history
in your miserable schools?)
We could perhaps re-consider
war compensation in general,
(we are still the only European country
not paid yet),
we could be thinking about
waving away
forced loans on the Bank of Greece,
by German occupational forces,
and last but not least,
the big Greek Holocaust,
(second only to the Jewish one)
and how to evaluate it
in terms of human misery.
That's who you were
for this country
and that's who you appear
still to be.

(If I was you,
I would be careful of my balls,
Mr. Tsipras,
after this election,
they are out to get you).

We should be Greek in every thing we do,
but in our attitude towards Germany
we should be Jewish,
They did not do bad after the war
in their dealings with you,
after all.

And if there is a Grexit
so what?
Only free marketers and investors would be harmed.
And if Euro zone collapses
so what?
Only the capitalists are afraid
that the fire is going to spread
to Italy,
Spain,
Portugal,
France (that is really scary).
Fuck the Euro, we say,
fuck Euro zone also,
it's only this "no one"
who is afraid of it.
How can you take olive trees and vines
out of Europe?
How can you take
science and art,
logic and democracy,
out of Europe?
They were by nature Greek
so they are by nature pan-human.
You cannot change nature...
or can you?
And so you will be out,
after this election
to cut off
his socialist balls.

If I was holding a gun
I would be shouting,
I only hold a ballot
so I'll be voting.
