Dark and concealed,
She waits for me.
Believing she is unseeable,
She wraps herself
In truths and lies,
In a lover's embrace.

And my eyes pierce her,
They undress her slowly.
I remove her coverings,
Her show and grace;
Her steps are awkward,
And the air is heavy.

Her lips move slowly;
They tell me secrets.
And her body cries to me,
Revealing her weakness,
Her past and present,
The fade of innocence.

She knows me now,
My body and thoughts.
She knows my touch,
My well of passion,
And she knows I have waited,
Dark and concealed.

~~

Another well played out, semi-erotic piece.
