Click hereby abort I mean to end...I do NOT mean abortion...
Shadowy thought's drift through my mind,
I sit and wonder why,
my path in life seem's so bleak,
it just seem's to go from week to week.
Life's lesson's yet to be learned to many pass,
so what's my concern.
The scales of life are always tipped against me,
neither here nor there,
what's wrong with me?
Problem's to great, life's so short,
somethings I wish I could just abort,
problem solved my life is ended,
how great for all if that's where it ended.
Poetry doesn't have to mean the same thing to the reader as it does to the author, only that it moves them both. This could have meaning to both he suicidal and the ppregnant, it could even touch on the people who are a touch homicidal, LOL. Explaining your meaning in the comments I think is fine, but not at the beginning when it forces readers to pay more attention to the spoiler than the poem. That's why everyone hates reading in school, they want you to look for specific messages in a work that may or may not be relevant to you. And that's my ramble.
if you DID mean abortion. It is a woman's choice and you have no one you must apologize to.Stop worrying about what other people think and just live your life, if you still have one. PS, notes at the start of a poem RUIN the poem, just a piece of advice
