Dawn Unwritten

The celestial torch pours its vibrant dawn
upon the sea curling to embrace rays.
Waves clipped and raked by a relentless wind.
Arms of morose clouds invade the sky.
Rain dances on the whistle of the wind.
Dreariness scarred by lightning's tentacles
as thunder cracks the music of the sea.
As peace emerges, stars slice through the night-
glint promises of renewal unwritten.
