Peace of mind and promise rings
I cheated you of all these things
I have always been so jealous a friend
To destroy any romance that might come in
Most were rotten and unworthy of your time
But that should have been your decision, not mine
Self-experience and romance during Spring
I cheated you of all these things
My feelings for you heightened my expectations
When you let me down it ignited my frustrations
The ones I made you drive away, I lied to you about
I wanted you to be lonely for leaving me out
You chose them and overlooked me
You cheated me of dignity
And to think of what manipulation brings
All over such elementary things
But I must go on with these attacks
It’s been so long, there’s not turning back
