Dear Santa,

Next year I’m going to be bad,
I’m sick of your silly presents,
That I don’t even like,
I know I should be polite and pretend,

Another year over,
What did I do?
I spent it being good,
Just to please you,

Why did I waste my time?
I opened my presents,
And all I wanted to do was cry,
This year was going to be a good haul,

Or so I thought,
How was I so easily misled?
Did I ever tell you that red isn’t your colour,
Santa, I tried I really did,

My presents should have been good,
Just for all the good times I know I missed,
