I walked into the restaurant

and saw you sitting with her.

It was a shock -

my eyes popped out,

my nose dropped off,

my arms flopped to the floor.

I lost my head and

you watched it roll into a corner.

I took a seat but I couldn’t eat –

I had no mouth.

I couldn’t think – I had no brain.

My legs detached and

my guts gushed out.

I was a butt sitting in the chair.

You asked a waiter to clean it up

and said I was being indiscrete.

In fact, I was just bleeding.

Nicely Composed

Lots of funny/poignant synergy in your verse. Don't think I'll forget this one in a hurry. Good stuff!

Though I enjoyed the statement...

the form of single lines double spaced is disconcerting. Nice work. Write on!
