Define a Line

Define a line
that curves a subtle
inward arc
intersecting between
warm breath
and an oblique whimper,

the voice, wavering
delicate pathways
undulating
linear tone and
sensation.

Still pining more
to press
an indentation – fill
the silent chasm
with sound

and shape a beginning
deep inside
a single point,
arching into a rhythm,
a line that curves.
