In the dark of night
I watch over you
In the light of day
I see what you do
I see all your kindness
I see your good show
But I also see the bad
- all the things you want no one to know
I watch in the silence
Waiting for the day
when your true colors shine
and the demon comes out to play
I wait patiently for that day
For I am that demon with horns
Though Hell was not my birthplace
Your heart, instead, is where I was born
For after all love is gone
and your heart starts to decay
Hatred and Madness are created
And I am here to stay
