Softly rolling mountains covered in thought
and beauty create no more than a
desert of desire as I languish
in a daydream of fantasy.

Your name spoken louder
in silence falls from my thoughts
like the gentle breeze that engulfs me,
holding you to me in all I see,
all that lies before me is the distance
between us.

A desert of desire and need camouflaged
by a beauty and peacefulness
that goes unseen
as you invade my every thought
making me thirst and whisper your name
across the vastness of empty and alone,
I miss you.
