    two military jets
    wing by wing
    cut the sky in halves

a small girl on the sidewalk
    leans closely to the woman
    the woman remembers

    when i was your age
    i was happy
    to greet birds & planes
    in the sky

    but mommy i am scared
    i am afraid of errorists

Thank you for all comments, including the shockingly shallow "...humor!!...LOL...!!!...cheers". (The repetitions in my poem are perfect).

About humor, yes, children are amusing. This is a humane touch, that's all.

The child cannot accept that the heinous crimes are committed on purpose, hence she believes that the word must be "errorist". This way she can somehow explain the world around her.

Thank you, it's nice to have readers :),

To err and realize it is human. To err and think God is working through you is to be an errorist.

To err is human

But like that girl, I'm also afraid of errorists. Moreso than terrorists.

What a difference lifetimes make!

Perhaps the little girl's erroneous spelling of Terrorist as errorists says it all. Pity the little children - pity all who dwell in the no man's land of a mad man's cruel ambition.
