Dig1-Dick PMs Disp0sa

Its ok to gaze at the screen, baby,
I’m doing it now myself -
But let’s not get lost in the dream, baby
Put romance back on the shelf.

Under the dream of the screen, baby
Streaming in the cables & chips,
Where the world we perceive
As received, (and believe in)
Is in permanent, total eclipse,
The binary impulses pulsing away,
(As I'm certain you already know)
Embody the meat and the heat of creation
In the stiff 1 and sweet oval 0.

Do you no good at all fighting it, baby -
Under the civilised smile
And the demure and obscure
Ornaments of intelligence
Lurks the gleam of that old crocodile.

His eyes are like mineral lust in the dark,
His blood has the chill of deep space,
He doesn't reflect or consider or care
Or pretend to feel any remorse.

He isn't concerned about justice or pain
He doesn't back off and he doesn't explain
He's done it before & he'll do it again
And it's pointless for you or for me to complain -
He's hardwired in at the base of our brain.

His cold lust bursts the buds in may
And flickers in the stars
It murmurs in a baby's pulse
And hones the tiger's claws
His voice is heard in sacred speech
And in foul profanity
Did you think it could be kept out of
Our frail humanity.

So c'mon baby . . .

Toy with those pearly buttons. girl!
Lose the dress
Make my hair curl
Shimmy over
And say it again,
"Gimme that jimmyjam jelly roll!"
