Once more, yet again, I pray
for the fairy moon to beam down
and make us what we once were,
one more time. I am not ready,
oh so unwilling to let us go.
On my knees I ask of you
to gently let me be, unravel
this twisted heart of mine,
let free this soaring soul to love
another more worthy than you.
But once more, and yet again,
I crawl to you, as you demand
me not to leave. Such a suffocating
grasp you have on my dignity.
