The smell is an additive
splashed on
and now poured over
until the can is empty.

The pyramid is a construct of five equal sides
built with:
a box of clothing
albums – 78’s, 45’s
speakers
turntables
a mirror ball
platform shoes
and souvenirs from those early vacations

the smell of sulfur strikes just the right cord

I feed the pictures of you into the flames one at a time.
