In bed alone, I lie awake
You're just not there for me to take.
And no sweet love for us to make.
My lady love, my light of life,
no fond flourish for my flushed fife.
My quandary causes me to quake.
Sensual search I cannot shake
Without my woman, my warm wife
in bed alone.
I do it myself stop the ache
I must release, make no mistake
Now no notch for my nookie knife
Set to sate the sexual strife
Feelings force fulfillment as fake,
In bed alone
