With all of our eyelashes a flutter
We teased and touched upon the sofa,
Discussing our latest doll face stars,
Whodunwho in office politics,
And where to go for dinner at nine.
A new and improved sound bite ended
My latest TV dinner tray trance
While I face down thoughts like these
And spoon-feed doll face more of this mash.

Epmd607almost 15 years agoI thought about it for a couple days and can't figure it out. I thought you were talking about your kids, but maybe this is just a poem about boredom. There isn't enough linking the first and second stanza. The first is like flirting on the couch good monotony, the second is lonely by yourself boohoo monotony.
