Tortured little soul,
Doomed never to be whole,
You know you can’t go home.

Don’t you feel your heart bleeding
As it searches for the meaning
That left it long ago.

Poor dying girl,
Only your darkness knows
The bitterness in your soul.

Don’t you feel your blood burning
As black fire runs through your veins;
It’s driving you insane.

Naïve wounded child,
Your force that sweet smile,
Was your love worthwhile?

Don’t you feel the price you’re paying
As it’s cutting you too deep
But that’s what you seek.

Please child, don’t weep.
