Slow down...be still my heart,
Drama, how I despise thee.
My mind and body are set apart,
The consciousness watching the unfolding of this tragedy.
Breathe in the cooling air,
Exhale the anger boiling at the surface.
My mind asks, "Why should I even care?"
"Why bother with this futile race?"
Slow down...be still my heart,
Don't Panic! Please don't panic!
Slow down my heart.
Anxiety is getting the best of you.
Don't let fear seize up your spine.
Pace yourself, and you'll overcome in due time.
Drama, an organism that thrives off the misery of others.
The fundamental parasite,
How I despise thee.
