Waiting for the blue line
it's all I have now
bits and pieces of something real
to connect to
We pray for bad things
homes to break
cities to move
for the world to end and leave us standing
We pray
at very least
for another twelve perfect hours

Nice

I liked this a lot, but can't pinpoint why. It just speaks to me and tells my heart something that my brain can't register. That end that draws near, the uncertainty, the hope for freedom (or at least a little bit of it), it all speaks to me clearly and tells me everything I fear, hope, and yearn for. Please continue to write such profound beauty.

Very intriguing ...

... and somewhat disturbing. As carson said, powerful! ~Imp

So powerful!

I think this might be your best work I've read yet. Seeing your progress to maturity as a writer has made me proud - and humble. The imagery in this shows a new strength as well as acceptance of our fate, which is to endure. Love Always, carson.
